Playas Torremolinos

"Not all treasures are hidden in the sand; some shine in the sunset of Playas Torremolinos."
Torremolinos

Torremolinos

Torremolinos on Spain’s Costa del Sol is the place where sunny beach days meet a lively city vibe. Think long sandy stretches, turquoise water, and plenty of spots to sip something cold.

By day, it’s all about sunbathing, swimming, and the occasional watersport. When evening rolls in, the streets fill with music, tapas plates, and the tempting smell of grilled seafood.

The old town adds a splash of charm with narrow streets and traditional houses, while the shopping scene keeps things fresh with modern boutiques and stylish stores.

Here, your holiday can be as chilled or as energetic as you like.

Playa de la Carihuela

The star of Torremolinos’ coastline. This long sandy beach comes with crystal-clear water and a buzzing promenade full of chiringuitos serving fresh fish straight from the grill. It’s busy, it’s social, and it’s perfect for a day in the sun followed by a seafood feast.

Playa de Bajondillo

Just a short stroll from La Carihuela, Bajondillo feels a touch more laid-back. Wide sands, calm waters, and plenty of space for the whole family. Grab a lounger, order something refreshing, and watch the Mediterranean do its thing.

Playa Los Alamos

Further east, Los Alamos offers a more relaxed scene. Golden sand, clear water, and a little extra breathing room. Popular with locals who like their beach days slow and easy, it still has beach bars and watersports for when you want to mix things up.

Costa del Sol beach highlights

Torremolinos is just one star along the Costa del Sol. Other beach hotspots include Estepona, Marbella, Málaga, Benalmádena, Rincón de la Victoria, Torre del Mar, Nerja, and Mijas. Every stretch has its own charm, but they all have two things in common: sunshine and the Mediterranean at your feet.

The Costa del Sol, also called the "Coast of the Sun", is a popular holiday destination on the southern coast of Spain. Some of the most famous and beautiful beaches:
